Privacy Policy

This notice explains how personal data collected through italiabusinessadvisory.com is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.
1. Data controller

2. What data we collect
- Contact form: name, email address, service of interest and your message.
- Free guide request: name and email address.
- Consultation purchase: email address and payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure page and are never received or stored by us.
- Live chat (only if you accept it in the cookie banner): the messages you write and technical data processed by the chat provider.
- Website statistics: pages viewed, device type, browser language, referring site and country (derived from the network, without storing your IP address), linked to a random session identifier that is deleted when you close the browser tab. No cookies are used for statistics.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your requests and sending the guide you asked for — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Selling and delivering the paid consultation and, if you engage us, the professional services — performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations, including accounting and tax rules and client identification under Italian anti-money-laundering law (Legislative Decree 231/2007) — art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Website security, abuse prevention and aggregated statistics — our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Live chat — your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from "Cookie settings".
We do not send newsletters or marketing emails unless you have given specific consent. Providing your data is optional, but without it we cannot answer your request or provide the service.
4. Who receives your data
Your data is processed by the data controller and by service providers acting as data processors under written agreements:
- Emergent (website and database hosting on cloud infrastructure);
- Resend, Inc. (delivery of transactional emails, USA);
- Tawk.to (live chat, only with your consent);
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (payment processing; Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data).
If you engage us, the data needed to incorporate your company is shared with the notary, the Business Register, the Revenue Agency and the other public authorities involved. Data is never sold.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some providers are based in, or use servers located in, the United States. Transfers take place on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified, or of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep your data
- Requests that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months from the last contact.
- Client records, invoices and anti-money-laundering files: 10 years, as required by Italian law (art. 2220 Civil Code; Legislative Decree 231/2007).
- Website statistics: kept in aggregated form; session identifiers expire when the tab is closed.
7. Your rights
You may at any time ask for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest (arts. 15–22 GDPR), and withdraw any consent given, by writing to start@italiabusinessadvisory.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of your country of residence.
No decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, are taken about you.
